Fields of application
The mediatechnic gateway is basically an EIBWeiche Ascii-Terminal device in a DIN-rail mounting case. It comes with example programs for AMX mediacontrollers, but the easy RS232 handling of the gateway makes it simple to adapt other media controllers as well.

 

Applications

• Simple, bidirectional coupling without loss of telegrams of the EIB/KNX with mediatechnic (AMX, Crestron, Philips Pronto...)
• Coupling over ASCII-protocol with only three ASCII-sequences:
• R0/0/1  creates a read request for GA 0/0/1
• W1/0/1=1 sends an ON-telegram to group address 1/0/1
• >00/0/003=1 reception of a telegram from GA 0/0/3 with value 1
